About Me.

Hunter Mowry is a fifth-year student in the Architectural Engineering program whose option is Lighting and Electrical Design. He will graduate in May of 2018 with a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering.

During the summer of 2016, Hunter studied abroad in Rome, Italy. This experience allowed him to gain an understanding of a new culture and different design decisions. In the summer of 2017 Hunter completed an internship at Studio i, a lighting design firm in Pittsburgh. During the internship, he was responsible for performing illumination calculations and generating lighting plans. He also created excel spreadsheets to organize lighting power density (LPD) and cost calculations to be used in office.

Currently, Hunter is the director of Internal Relations on the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Student Chapter executive board. In his free time Hunter enjoys relaxing with friends, playing videogames, or admiring art.
